RON GREER

Board Member

Ron Greer is the Director of the Pastoral Counseling Service at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, where he has served for over thirty years. 

 

An ordained United Methodist minister, he is a Fellow with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. 

 

Ron is the author of three books (Now That They Are Grown; If You Know Who You Are, You’ll Know What to Do; and Markings on the Windowsill), with a fourth (The Path of Compassion) soon to be published.   He frequently speaks on issues that include compassion, marriage, integrity, grief, and personal growth.

 

Ron has a BS from LSU, a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Master of Theology in pastoral counseling from Columbia Theological Seminary.  Ron and his wife Karen have been married for over 40 years, have two adult children, and are proud grandparents
